Stud ewes sold to $900 three times by John Eccles of Victoria paying $900 each to secure his three ewes, another volume buyer of ewes was Harry and Nicola Bussell of Alpine Dorper Stud, Victoria. Dave Maxwell of “Sierra Vista” Wee Waa NSW went to $2600 twice to secure two rams along with other volume buyers - Allan Crozier of “Marfield” Ivanhoe, David and Andy Gordon of Injune, QLD and Tim Luckraft of Orroroo, South Australia.

The drafts of DorperX ewes proved a popular item again at this years sale and a pen of 5th and 6th cross ewes sold to Murray Chessell of ‘Milton’ VIC for a top $385 head.

The annual Winrae Dorper Production Sale was also attended by Ben Grobbelaar of Woelewater Dorper Stud, South Africa and Theuns and Paula Botha of South Africa inspected the sale sheep prior to the sale.
